Delete your Recipisy account

Request deletion of your Recipisy account and its associated cloud data, even if you no longer have the app installed.

Request deletion by email

Email develogic.dev@gmail.com with the subject Recipisy account and data deletion and say that you want your account and associated data deleted.

If you linked an email or recovery login, contact us from that address where possible and tell us which sign-in method you used. If you used an anonymous account, mention that instead. We will reply privately to establish which account belongs to you before processing the request. Store purchase restoration alone does not identify an anonymous recipe library.

Email a deletion request

You can also copy the address into any email service. Never send passwords, verification codes, payment details or recipe scans.

Delete inside the app

  1. Export recipes you wish to keep.
  2. Open Recipisy → Settings → Delete account.
  3. Follow the confirmation and any required recent-authentication steps. Linked Apple authorization is revoked as part of the process.
  4. Follow the deletion status shown in the app. An accepted request may still be processing.

What is deleted?

The deletion process removes the Firebase account, profile, cloud recipe library, notes, collections, private images, source scans and associated processing data. Account access is blocked when the server accepts deletion. Background removal is retried when necessary; pending processing-cost reconciliation can delay completion.

What can remain?

Minimal deletion-status and anti-resurrection records are kept to prevent deleted data from syncing back. Unsettled processing-accounting records remain until reconciliation is complete. Deleted cloud files can remain recoverable under the storage service’s 7-day soft-delete policy before permanent removal. Daily database backups also retain copies for 7 days. Google Authentication can take up to 180 days to remove authentication data from its live and backup systems. Minimal required audit records can remain for 400 days. Provider safety, legal and store transaction records follow the separate periods in our privacy notice.

Exports, files shared with others, original camera-roll images, operating-system backups and data on offline devices are outside this cloud deletion process. Other app installations clear account caches when they observe the account change. If you only used local guest recipes, delete those on the device; emailing support cannot remotely erase them.

Subscriptions are separate

Deleting your Recipisy account or uninstalling the app does not cancel a subscription. Cancel it separately in your Apple or Google subscription settings. Your Apple or Google account is not deleted.
